Very nice BM Jaguarino moped.
Frame number BMIS 14931, engine number MF-4MPLV.
The Jaguarino brakes, drives and shifts well. Perfect for touring or as a showpiece in the office or living room.
Some history:
The B.M. started with Marino Bonvicini, a cyclist who retired from racing and opened a workshop for the production of bicycle frames in Via Cadriano. After the end of the war he moved to Via San Vitale (now Via Massarenti 14) and gradually shifted his work to mopeds. Since 1953, B.M. has been fully dedicated to the production of 125 and 160 two-stroke motorbikes and 175 four-stroke light motorbikes. There was an increase in the number of models after the move to Via Pellegrino Orlandi in the early 1960s. Franco Morini engines for motorcycles and light motorbikes were later used, including the Jaguarino Cross model, with an engine capacity of 50 and 4 gears.
