Very fine publication, bound in gilded full-morocco by the Brussels master bookbinder Louis Malcorps.
Uit zelfbehoud. Maastricht, (A.A.M. Stols, 1938). Gilded full-morocco with four raised bands in cardboard slipcase (Louis Malcorps). (4), 140 pp. Printed in red and black on Ossekop of Van Gelder in an edition of only 40 numbered copies (this is number 3). 1st edition. Spine slightly tanned.
One of the few copies bound by Louis Malcorps in red-brown full-morocco, signed by the author below the publisher's imprint. The front cover features the vignette of De Halcyon Pers in gold. De Halcyon Pers 8. Van Dijk 436.
