Please note this is a miniature Teno Leader dagger used by the manufacturer to display their craftsmanship these are extremely rare daggers and one of the most beautiful ones produced in the third reich also as seen this comes in the original presentation box the dagger can be dismantled same way as the standard sized one and has some great details.
Beautiful TENO (‘Technische Nothilfe’) dagger for leaders. 1938 model. The dagger for leaders of the ‘Technische Nothilfe’ (Technical Emergency Corps), M1938, was introduced for officers from the rank of chief of staff and above.
Manufacturer: Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. The total length is approx. 20.5 cm, the blade is approx. 13 cm. The amber-coloured grip is made of plastic. Round pommel with the TENO cog wheel emblem It has a silver-plated cross guard in the form of an imperial eagle, holding in its talons the TENO wreath with the swastika and the TENO ‘TN’ characters. On the back is the manufacturer’s logo: ‘Original Carl Eickhorn, Solingen’. Above the manufacturer's logo is the TENO eagle and ‘GES. GESCH. The pommel, cross guard and scabbard have a really nice patina. The blade fits perfectly in the scabbard. The dagger is absolute mint condition.

As seen on photos there is very minimal gap between the crossguard and wooden handle maybe 1mm.
I think this is acceptable for a 75year + original dagger.
