Great Antique Katana signed by the famous nihonto forger ""Osumi Toshihira saku" 上野國島田住大隅俊平作 Disciple and student of 宮入昭平作 miyairi akihira saku, 2nd Living National Treasure, founded the Miyairi School, itame, gunome, Kiyomaru utsushi, also signed "Yukihira".
Take a special apraisal to this very clear and suberb Hammon and perfect profesional polish on it. You can see perfectly the tamahagane steel, hada grains and forging patterns, the tamahagane waves are beautiful and perfect.
Blade is in very good condition due to aging. Not hagire, no nicks, and not fatal damage, of course. Please see the close-up pictures for amazing details.
All my swords are originals, imported from japan during many years of collection. Hand forged samurai blades are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education (Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education. Original must be keeped in Japan by law.
